Make sure your trailer is parked on level ground and measure from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler. Take that measurement and add at least 4” to allow your tongue jack to lift your coupler over the ball. The correct tongue jack will also retract enough to be shorter than the coupler height.
I have a 2004 210 Campione Ebbtide. I had to buy a new trailer for it as the boat was docked when I purchased it. One of the things I am noticing is that when I have the jack as far as it will go, I still have to lift the trailer to get on my hitch. Since this is a heavy boat (over 3K pounds) I usually need help. Is there anything out there that can help with this situation? I was thinking about something it could roll up on to give it a couple of inches. Can I buy a bigger trailer jack (are they easy to install)? Thanks in advance for your help.
