The meaning of hot-dip galvanizing equipment passivation: When parts need to be stored and transported for a long time, passivation treatment should be carried out between parts to prevent corrosion during storage and transportation. Its corrosion product is usually called white rust. Commonly used passivation methods include chromate method and phosphate method.

The passivation method of hot-dip galvanizing equipment is to use hot-dip galvanized pipes to spray the passivation liquid directly on the runway, and blow away the attached liquid with a steam knife one meter away from the spraying position. Be careful to blow it off.

Wipe with compressed cold air to blow away the liquid on the surface of the steel pipe to make the coating uniform. Adjust the coating thickness by adjusting the air pressure. During the passivation production process of hot-dip galvanizing equipment, no excess liquid beads shall be attached to the surface of the zinc pipe.

Place the qualified steel pipes treated with solvents on the drying receiving table, and the flat surface of the steel pipe is placed at right angles to the front of the zinc pot and the front of the two magnetic rollers; the pipes with larger bends should be placed at the rear or on the receiving rack after straightening.

The main function of the drying kang is to dry the moisture on the surface of the steel pipe. On the other hand, it increases the temperature of the steel pipe itself to prevent zinc splashing and injuring people, does not take away the heat energy in the zinc pot, and accelerates the formation of the zinc-iron alloy layer.

The drying temperature is 80℃~180℃, and the steel pipe drying time is 3~7 minutes. It can also be used in the production process of drying equipment based on hot-dip galvanizing environmental protection equipment. The drying temperature can be controlled according to the specifications and wall thickness of the steel pipe. The dryer should check the dryness of the steel pipe at any time to prevent zinc liquid from splashing and injuring people due to insufficient time. The temperature should not be too high during the drying process to avoid burning the solvent.
