Envision Energy has secured the contract for the Quezon North 345 MW Wind Power Project, the largest wind energy initiative ever undertaken in the Philippines. The project is owned by ACEN, a renewable energy company under the Ayala Group, headquartered in Quezon City, the economic, cultural, political, and transportation hub of the Philippines. To optimize energy output based on local wind conditions, the project will deploy Envision Energy's onshore smart wind turbines with 150-meter-high towers.

This marks the second collaboration between Envision Energy and ACEN. The two companies previously partnered on the 600 MW Monsoon Wind Project in Laos, Southeast Asia's first cross-border wind energy initiative. Once completed, the Monsoon project will export electricity to Vietnam, easing power shortages in the country's central regions and advancing Laos’ vision of becoming the "Battery of Southeast Asia."

Xu Gang, Senior Vice President and President of International Product Lines at Envision Energy, commented: "Envision's world-class high-tower wind technology and intelligent control systems significantly enhance wind capture and power generation, improving project efficiency. This partnership will accelerate the Philippines' transition to renewable energy and support its green economic transformation, reflecting Envision's commitment to being a global zero-carbon technology partner."

In 2024 alone, Envision Energy has won contracts for four wind power projects in the Philippines, totaling 593 MW in capacity. Beyond the Philippines, Envision continues to expand its presence in Asia, recently securing bids for several key projects, including the Five Rings 59 MW project in Bangladesh and the ACWA Nukus 2 208 MW project in Uzbekistan, further advancing its international growth strategy.
