Application areas of electroplating treatment

 

Plating technology is widely used in modern industry, especially in the electronics industry, communications and military and other fields, a large number of functional plating technology. In addition, anodizing is often used to change the appearance of products and improve the surface color and texture structure, and is commonly used in the surface treatment of titanium and aluminum.

 

Plating Process

 

The plating process consists of several major steps:

 

Pre-treatment: Ensuring that the surface of the workpiece is clean and free of oils and impurities is critical to the success of electroplating.

 

Electroplating: In an electrolyzer, metal ions are reduced to metal atoms under the action of a DC electric field and deposited on the surface of the workpiece.

 

Post-treatment: Including passivation treatment, hydrogen removal treatment, coloring treatment, coating treatment and sealing treatment, etc. to improve the corrosion resistance, gloss and stability of the plated layer.
