I. Basic treatment after the end of plating

After plating is completed, a series of post-processing steps need to be carried out on the plated parts to ensure their performance and quality. Mainly includes cleaning, drying and inspection and other links.

II. The specific processing steps in detail

1. Cleaning: Electrolyte, additives and other impurities may remain on the surface of the workpiece after plating. Therefore, thorough cleaning is necessary to remove these residues. Cleaning can use water washing, chemical cleaning or ultrasonic cleaning and other methods.

2. Drying: After cleaning is completed, the workpiece needs to be dried to prevent moisture residue leading to corrosion. Drying can use natural drying, hot air drying or drying methods.

3. Inspection: After drying the workpiece needs to be quality inspection, check whether the surface is smooth, whether there are defects and so on. If necessary, electrical or other performance tests are also required.

III. Follow-up treatment and maintenance

1. According to the need, the plating parts for the necessary protective treatment, such as oiling, covering the protective layer, etc., in order to extend its service life.

2. For plated parts stored for a long time, they should be inspected and maintained regularly to ensure that they are kept in good condition.

3. If plated parts are rusted or otherwise damaged, they should be repaired or re-plated in a timely manner.

IV. Precautions

The treatment after plating is an important link to ensure the quality of plating, and any negligence in the link may lead to the quality of the workpiece not up to standard. Therefore, operators need to strictly follow the operating procedures to ensure the correct implementation of each step.
